Dormitories are important places for students to live and study. Dormitory activities are the major means through which the University launches its SPT education and develops its campus culture.
The dormitories at Yuexiu are managed by the dormitory management committee, which has a dormitory management office whose main duties cover implementing educational and managing functions on behalf of the dormitory management committee.
The main management staff is composed of the dormitory management office staff, dormitory counselors, dormitory security staff, dormitory cleaners, building wardens, and floor wardens. Apart from the daily management of the dormitories, the dormitory management office also organises various dormitory cultural activities and provides psychological counseling service and life skills.
